Questions

Waitlist FAQ

Does joining the waitlist cost anything?

No. Joining is free and doesn’t commit you to anything. A $500 deposit is only taken once you’re approved and choose to reserve a spot on a litter.

Does joining guarantee me a puppy?

Joining puts you first in line to hear about upcoming litters. Puppies are placed with approved homes that are a good fit for each puppy’s temperament, drive and energy.

Who are Wachhund puppies best suited for?

Most Wachhund puppies go to dedicated working and sport homes, with select puppies placed in active family homes that can meet their physical and mental needs.

How much is a puppy?

Reserving a puppy takes a $500 deposit, with the remaining balance due at pickup. Pricing varies by litter. See our Breeding page for current details.

Can I choose my puppy?

Riley evaluates every puppy around 6 weeks of age and works with each family to find the best match for their goals and lifestyle.

Questions before you join?

Riley is happy to talk about the breeds, the program and whether a Wachhund dog is right for you.
